China Expands Business Interests in Ondo State, Seek Investments in Technology, Agriculture, Construction

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening ties with China to boost the state’s economy.

During a meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Linyi Municipal People’s Government, Sun Deshi, and the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Lagos, Ms Yan Yuqing, the governor highlighted the potential for mutual benefits in technology, education, and agriculture.

The Chinese city of Linyi is interested in expanding its investments in Ondo State, particularly in the Ondo-Linyi Industry Park in Ore.

The Governor assured the Chinese delegation of maximum support, emphasizing his administration’s efforts to create a conducive business environment.

The Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Lagos, Ms Yan Yuqing, praised the Ondo State Government for establishing the Linyi Industrial Hub and promised to facilitate more business opportunities in the state.
