In a bid to enhance bilateral trade, investment and economic ties between Nigeria and China, the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Lagos, Ms Yan Yuqing welcomed a high-profile delegation from the China Africa Business Council, CABC, in Lagos.
The delegation, led by the honorary Vice Chairman of CABC, Chief Jacob Wood and Vice Chairman of CABC, Sun Hongyu, noted that the visit marks another significant milestone in strengthening the economic ties between Nigeria and China.
The delegation visited the Consul General with the aim of gaining firsthand market insights into the Nigeria business environment and also to explore new partnership opportunities.
The delegation earlier had discussions with the management of the Lekki Free Trade Zone on area of business partnership.
The Vice Chairman of CABC, Sun Hongyu, expressed the readiness of the council to conduct businesses in Nigeria.
On her part, the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Lagos, Ms Yan Yuqing, highlighted the avenues that business can be done adding that the stable business climate in Nigeria stands as an advantage for investment.
